Buenas noches! I'm a little tired and cranky tonight (and just walked your Uncle Joe with a pillow.) but wanted to write you before I forgot a couple of details/parts of stories:
1) We had swimming lesson #2 and Uncle Joe and Grandpa went to observe. Uncle Joe filmed the whole lesson! With the song Pop Goes the Weasel i had a choice to throw Dylan up or dunk him and I went for the dunk. He didn't like that one bit. He was shocked but recovered almost instantly and regained the shit-eating grin he had plastered on his face the entire time, despite the ever increasing blue lips. Noah was cold and whining much of the time. It was a tad cooler in there than the last time. The instructor wasn't as good either.. I was bummed we didn't do "Wheels on the Bus." She had a really smooth routine going with several fun songs. The new instructor just didn't have the same charisma. The screaming started in the dressing room, total bedlam- 4 adults and 2 toddlers all trying to find two sets of shoes, socks, t-shirts and shoes and maintain sanity at the same time. On the way out, Noah must have been observing Grandpa Kudym because he started shuffling his feet just like him. Uncle Joe and I just looked at each other in disbelief.
Back at the house, I dug up what I could find to make lunch-egg noodles, creamy cheese parm sauce, tuna and a can of clam chowder and put it all together. Noah kept saying, "Good pasta!" and Dylan chowed down as well. They also ate a bunch of baby carrots. Afterwards we had a family nap (extended family) on the couch. Uncle Joe and Dylan feel asleep on one section and Noah fell asleep on the other side between Daddy and Auntie Kim. Daddy got up to read the paper while the rest of us slept and Grandpa Kudym snuck out despite losing his special glaucoma sunglasses.
2) Your daddy finally had a chance to express anger towards your mom. He said some things he's been wanting to say for a long time. It's probably a good thing, a step towards moving on and hopefully becoming civil towards each other down the road.
3) Your dad brought you guys to Moseley Woods and ran into your Aunt Jackie and her son Jack Jr and you all played together. He was born in the same hospital down the same hall a couple days after you guys were there. Only your mom didn't want to visit her..the beginning of the relationship demise between your Grandma B and Mom.
