Pool Fun

Saturday,
Hi Peanuts! We are on our way over to see you for our usual Saturday visit. You are ten months old now! Uncle Joe and I came over Thursday night this week also because your mom was at a Billy Joel concert with your Aunt Kim (l) being the wild party girl she is. Can you believe her? Abandoning you for a rock star? We had a great time though playing with you both and Nick. Dylan is now crawling all across the room in a paraplegic sort of way-it’s more of a slide while one arm pulls him across the floor. He’s also running in his little chair with wheel on it. Dylan and Nick were playing bumper cars.
The funniest thing was when we arrived and your dad said you were both in for your nap. But I heard noise in the bedroom and there was Dylan on his stomach and holding himself up looking out at us. He gave us the biggest smile when he recognized us. He has the best personality so far as far as friendliness and cheeriness. Noah is crankier still but he has the best laugh! Just like his Auntie Kim! (K of course)
We videotaped you both on your backs laughing your heads off when your daddy was rubbing his head on your tummies. First he was doing it to just Noah and then Dylan wanted in on the action and crawled right over. You both are so dam cute I can hardly stand it!
Last week I went over and helped your mom put both of you in the pool. That was great fun! Dylan, you were LOVING it. I sat on the ladder and held you (water too cold for me!) and you just kicked away and laid your head back in the water to look at me upside down with the most enormous smile. Noah was having a better time than the last time I saw him go in. He liked sitting there with his mom but did not like his dad trying to put him in the big red crab float. He enjoyed when I held him and we did the electric slide in the water with Nick though!
Your dad is a bit of a nervous Nelly with you guys. I watched him feed you spaghetti-os and it was painfully slow because he would only put about 1cm. of food in the spoon, just 2 or 3 little spaghetti’os because he’s afraid you’ll choke. Uncle Joe tried to explain that Melissa gives you big spoonfuls. We try not to tell him what to do since we want to be welcome over! But sometimes Uncle Joe and his “know-it-all” behaviors come forth. He loves you guys so much and it is so cute to watch how you both react to him. Noah, you swooned me the other night when Uncle Joe was holding you and bouncing you on his knees (well you were bouncing yourself) and suddenly you turned around to see if I was there and gave me a huge grin!
