Hola niƱos!
Im now in my final month of employment as a public school teacher!! 31 consecutive years..ay, caramba! It's the day after a string of tornados cut through Massachusetts wreaking havoc in many communities particularly Springfield and Manson (something like that) As the sun sets on my career and this unusual devastation, I'm holding vigil over Cuddles who is most likely near her walk across Rainbow Bridge. I came home from my very last field trip and Cuddles did not look good. She was very weak and slow moving and could hardly walk down the stairs to go do her duties. I could not get her in to see the vets but Uncle Joe will take her tomorrow morning. I'm sad about Cuddles but I knew we were headed in this direction sooner than later given her Cushings Disease and severe heart murmur the vet found last month.
Last weekend we drove down with your dad to see Pam and Rob and her kids. You both had a great time! We stopped at Taco Bell on the way over and your dad told us a story about Noah. I hope either one of you or both will find humor in this but at the time it bothered me that your dad told me and Uncle Joe in front of you. I think that was unnecessary and caused you to feel she that you do not desire for the action at your age. But apparently, Noah did a turd on the couch at Daddy's house. Dylan tattled on him. I looked at Noah and said, "Why did you do a poopoo on the couch? You are supposed to do a poopoo on the toilet1" Noah's response was "I say I sorry!" It was priceless.
I am really looking forward to spending more time with you both the I retire. There is a plan in place, but not fully confirmed by your parents but absolutely committed to on my part to take care of you two days per week while both you mom and dad are at work. Right now, since your mom went to work days last month, you are going to your Auntie Deeana's house 5 days a week, apparently only charging $150 week since she does your mother for watching her baby. The chaps possible case of hear of is $3.50 per hour/per child. (My friend, Theresa in Deerfield, NH) but that is very low compared to basic daycare costs here. I called a Haverhill daycare advertised at Anna Jacques Hospital and she charges $55 per kid, 10% off of 2nd kid from same family. She had only one opening but would have 2 in December. I just wanted a pricing guide so I can bill your dad appropriately. As much as I love the two of you, I'm not going to offer free day care. Had your dad offered $75/day last week, I would have accepted that but having talked with Uncle Joes' side of family and Heidi, Id be crazy to do for less than $100/day. So we will see where we go with this.
