Hi boys!
Haven't seen a whole lot of you this year but when we do, we have fun! Uncle Joe and I went to your school last month for special people/Grandparents Day. Your Nana went to Noah's room and we went to Dylan's room. Dylan, you were a little upset at first because you were expecting Nana but you had fun showing us the stories you had written, how you could read, math games you can play, word search (Thanksgiving words) and we made an Indian puppet. Your teacher made a list of activities for the kids to do with their special people. I enjoyed your stories the most, like the one about how you, Noah and your dad saw an accident on the road and how you were sleeping in your but beds. The pictures were good, too! Uncle Joe took pictures of your stories and sent them to Uncle Don and your dad.
We say you guys for my birthday. Also last night. You made funny pictures on my birthday cards and we ate at Friendly's. Last night, I made spaghetti and meatballs and we wrote letters to Santa. We watched Rudolph, Frosty and Charlie Brown Christmas. Also, I read a story from a book I have called, "Mrs.Claus" about how Santa forget three dolls for three girls on Christmas Eve and Mrs. Claus had to take Blitzen (who had been lame) to deliver them.
Uncle Don's Christmas party is next weekend. I both you both andRyan a big of candy form Putnam Pantry, old-fashions kind like wax lips and a bunch of small gifts at Jabberwocky Toy Store at the Tannery. (Eureka)

Ten Claws
August 25, 2014
Hoowee! She turned out cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs! I think your dad has had enough dating for awhile after that ordeal. He seems to really like Sissy or whatever her name is that lives near your mom but they are friends only. You guys all went to Six Gun City together and stayed in a cabin in the park.
Uncle Joe and I had your boys here for two days last week and had a blast. Your dad was in D.C on a business trip and your mom let us borrow you fro Uncle Joe's company picnic again. That was pretty fun, got tattoos, played Bocci Ball, did the lame piñata with strings, and great grub. Uncle Joe and I had our pictures done, caricatures of Underdog (me) and FDA man.
When we got home, we took the dogs Carlos, Hope and Ruby to Indian Hill Reservoir. You loved throwing sticks in for the dogs ad then we climbed the hill until the mosquitos came out. That night I rad you a ghost story on the porch when you both slept. "Ten Claws" Dylan got way too creeped out so I read thee Little Red Hen to change the mood. Apparently Dylan had nightmares next night at mom's and she got mad and complained to Dad. I apologized to your mom. No more scary stories until you stop pooping your pants, LOL! It WAS pretty scary. So the next day I took you guys to Sandy Point after a relaxing morning watching Underdog cartoons on my computer and some others like Birdman which I never heard of. We had a blast a Sandy Point. Someone had started a structure with driftwood and you guys added to it. Was great shade from the sun, too. Was a beautiful day there, partly sunny only and not too hot. We stopped at Metzy's Taco Truck at Plum Island Airport afterwards and had Mexican sodas in bottles which you pretended were beer bottles and kept toasting each other. Noah and I had tacos but Dylan waited till we got him and almost ate a full box of Annie's Mac and Cheese. A great two days and you were well-behaved and fun! Not grumpy like when you came over with your dad last time and I made you go back out the door and come in again acting happy to see us. :-)

Brown Beans, Not Black!
October 24, 2013
Dear boys,
You are sleeping downstairs with your daddy, first time in awhile! I was so excited to see you both yesterday. Now that I don't get to take care of you it seems, well, it is fact, we have less time together and I miss that. Yet, I am thankful for so much time we had while you were still pre-schoolers. I was looking through my videos trying to delete some since the computer is full! And can't possibly delete the two of you when so small running along the boardwalk at Hellcat Swamp Trail singing "A little bit of this, a little bit of that" like that guy in the dancing video (can't think of his name- Christopher Walkins! Thats it!)
Last night was Game 1 of the 2013 World Series Red Sox vx. St. Louis Cardinals. Red Sox won 7-1. I didnt' watch, went to bed! Uncle Joe watched it alone and your dad watched it while in bed with you guys downstairs.
We had chicken wings and whole wheat macaroni and cheese I made with Velvet cheese, broccoli and beans. Dylan asked for brown beans, not black, Noah then complained at dinner that he wanted back beans, just to be contrary, although he is my biggest fan of my BROWN baked beans mixed in with mac n' cheese! The little shit! The two of you! I had to put Noah in time out because he blew out my candle on the table deliberately, no apology when i gave him the evil eye, just laughed. You're in a stage of lots of grabbing of things, turning lights on and off to be funny, throwing things around, a little out of control. Your dad needs a few lessons in behavior management. I have some old material from my college days I am going to give him.
So some interesting things are going on in your lives right now, some good, some not so good. Noah told me that your Mom and Adam have been fighting, screaming at each other and Noah has to shut the door in his bedroom. I told him that me and Uncle Joe get mad at each other sometimes too but he said they were REALLY mad. Also, your daddy has had a few dates with a woman named Stephanie. This is probably the longest relationship he's had since your mom and after that Stacia which was also about a month like this one. I hope it keeps going. She sounds perfect for your dad. She showed up on first date with a backgammon board! We'll see!

Six Years Old!
Aug 31, 2013
You are six years old! Holy moley! Unbelievable! Yesterday was your birthday and tomorrow we are having your paternal side party I guess would be the best word for it, chez Auntie Kim and Uncle Joe! Your dad is so excited. He bought a blow-up pool and slide, a Batman piñata and bought scooters for you both with name plates. I bought you Hanna Anderson slipper socks but I think they are to big still. It will be fun for you to try them on from time to time and notice the change as your feet grow to be canoes.
We've had a great summer, spending lots of time with you! You stayed with us every Weds to give Adam a break and lots of days during Yankee Homecoming we went to the festivities. And of course, Bailey Island We had a blast! So much to write and tell. I did take a ton of pictures as did Uncle Joe and your dad of course. We stayed at the Manderly College in Merricoeng Sound, which was fantastic! Wished we brought the kayaks! We went out on our rafts though. Noah went out with me once way out to one of the sailboats on a mooring. You both wore life jackets but didn't swim much. Maine water COLD! Grandpa K, Grandma Chris were there for Saturday-Tuesday then Uncle Don came Wednesday and stayed trough Saturday. You guys were there the whole week except one night you went home with Dad because he wanted to bring you to some lobster fest at work and he wasn't planning on going back until Noah was sad because he missed Uncle Don so back y'all came!!
It was a wonderful time walking on the rocks, building cairns, walking and sitting and climbing at Dead Cat Cove, seeing the fairy house, destroying fairy house that were out of code, playing Quad-ominos, watching movies together at night, eating at Cook's Lobster House, walking back at night past haunted house and getting silly talking about pooping our pants. Yes, toilet humor alive and well with all of us K's! Dylan was cackling the most, a major chucklehead. During movies, Dylan would repeat funny sounding sentences even if he didn't know what they meant. We watch Young Frankenstein, Dr. Doolittle, The Mask and Monsters vs Aliens (animate one)
You had some quotes of the week. While on the raft with me, Noah said, This is quite an adventure!" and Dylan said in the cottage while were were debating some issues "Well, its' still a very nice view!"

"I miss Cuddles!"
Tuesday, June 10, 2013
Dear boys,
Gee, I was writing about once a month but I've been slacking! Well good news that I will have you guys on Wednesdays for the sumer to relieve Adam of one day and so we can have fun, too! We've been spending a little time together on Sunday nights recently because your dad had a couple of blind dates scheduled.
Last Sunday, Uncle Joe and I took you to Atkinson Common in Newburyport, your first time. Your dad used to go there with Nick the he first et your mom. We explored the fountains, the gazebo, the tower and climbed some cool cedar trees that I heard about. Took a ton of pictures, you know Uncle Joe and his camera. The two of you are such unbelievable has, between your dad, your mom, Uncle Joe...everyone taking pictures, me too..you are quite used to it. In fact, must wonder why something is going on at all if nobody as a camera ready.
Both you guys went right to bed the last couple of times your Dad was out but Noah couldn't all asleep last Sunday. I heard him crying for Daddy so I went downstairs ad told hi he could come have some juice in the kitchen. I asked him if he didn't miss Momma too. When he didn't see her for awhile and he responded "And I miss Cuddles!" sadly. A bit of delayed response five months later. When I told you guys Cuddles died, Noah showed the least concern, and nobody has said a word since really. It struck me kind of funny. So I invited Noah up to our bed, and I read him a story from my Nook, an electronic read-to-me book. He cheered right up and went back to bed, at same time Daddy came back.
Both of you helped Grandpa K and Grandma Chris move into their new house in Dudley, Mass a couple of months ago. You were apparently very good helpers! They moved down there to be closer to Pam and Rob to help with the kids since Pam is still sick with leg pain from her melanoma removal areas. It's about two and a half hours away though so I don't think any of us will be visiting that much. Uncle Joe hates to drive and I sure don't do it. It takes me six hours to get there on back roads, ha ha! We could probably take a bus though. But anyway, they don't seem to mind driving up so we'll try to invite them up here.
Since I last wrote, your mom and Adam got married. He is not working so the plan is for him to babysit you guys this summer, looks like T, Th, F because your mom is home now on Monday, and I'll have you Weds.
This summer, Uncle Joe and I rented place on Bailey Island, Maine to invite all of you there for the week or part of the week. We will have fun! That's not until August, right before your 6th birthday You will be in kindergarten in Plaistow, NH next year!!
Love, Auntie Kim
