Happy Spring Sunday! You are both taking a nap tour house downstairs with you daddy and I'm on the deck enjoying a very beautiful day! We just got back form a walk on Plum Island with Ruby, your daddy and Uncle Joe followed by a Gelato in Market Square in Newburyport. We sat on one of the benches and watched some guy set up a magic show. As much as I love it when you guys are here, It sure is nice and quiet when you take a nap!
So later today, guess what you both are doing? You are going to a farm with Daddy's new friend Kristina an her little girl named Lily. Your daddy seems to like her a lot so we'll see where this goes! It's only been 2 weeks since he met her but he's spent a couple of nights at her place in Methuen and you kids got together at a park once with her and her daughter. Your dad seems happy about it but exhausted! Can't handle twin toddlers, a new relationship and a promotion in his job all a the same time! He's lucky he has us when he can come chill out on the weekend with extra help to take care of you guys. Uncle Joe and I both love it! Sometimes I get a little sad when you are here for the weekend right after you both leave. I just really enjoy us all being together.
You are both quite verbal now although we still can't understand everything you try to tell us. Noah has been asking "Why?" a lot to everything and Dylan just laughs at everything like it's a big joke. You are mean to each other sometimes stealing each other's toys or juice. Today we drew our shadows in the driveway with chalk. We watched Shaun the Sheep, Noah's favorite episode, E. 5 where the aliens come and power their spaceship with sheep poop. You both like talking about farting, too, and you are intrigued with the no farting symbol in our kitchen. You both love to take walks, also. Last night we walked in the neighborhood behind our house with all three dogs. Noah did a good job walking Jack. Noah is very helpful around the house, too, helping me sweep the deck since Cuddles's fur was everywhere. I cut her and Jackie on the table.
You both make all three of us laugh so much! I wish I could remember half the things you say to write them down! You are not both fully potty trained yet but pretty darn close. Your daddy made you were diapers to bed last night and you were pretty pissed off. That was because last time one of you had an accident in the bed.
I guess your mom has a new boyfriend now named Adam. I asked you guys if Adam was a nice guy and you said yes, but a "scary guy" and that he had a motorcycle. I'm not sure what that was all about! Will be keeping my ears and eyes open on that end! I saw his picture on Facebook...looks like he's a hunter and has a dog and doesn't seem half bad. I just hope your mom hooks up with a decent guy that will be a loving stepfather. No matter what , you know you have Auntie Kim and Uncle Joe for you here!
We will always love you whether we are here on Planet Earth or "up on the moon" with Auntie Kim's mom! :-)
