Hi guys!
Yesterday Uncle Joe and I got to watch our first ever flag football game and even I could figure out the basic rules and follow. And what's even better than that, I knew two of the players! None other than Speed Demon Noah Kudym and Kickass Dylan Kudym! It was a fun event, getting to sit in the shade on a ridiculously hot Fall morning, chat with your mom and Nick and cheer you both on. We saw both of you make excellent plays which was fun to watch how proud you looked. I noticed you smiling and glancing at your mom or Nick when you heard them applaud for you and at me and Uncle Joe, too. It was nice to be close enough to make eye contact with you and see the grins.
There was a woman sitting behind us, who was telling us what athletes you too are, especially in basketball. Her grandson plays on your team and lives on your street near you. She has been at the house when you guys went over for dinner and remarked how nice you both were, so polite, perfect gentlemen?! LOL! I was actually quite proud but i'm just laughing picturing you eating in someone else's house with Noah secretly letting out a silent, but highly toxic fart, and Dylan snickering on the other side of the table. And then if your dad was there, he'd be stuffing rolls secretly into his pockets.
(couldn't resist)
We walked back to the parking lot with you and your dad and got a chance to talk,,,,quite a long walk from the edge of the far field to the parking lot. Dylan you were such a wiseass telling me if i needed to go the bathroom that there was a trashcan with a lid on top, the kind with a hole in the middle for the trash (or human waste) but I wiped the smile off your face giving you too much of a visual about what if I burned my butt on that black lid baking in the sun, or got stuck to it and needed his help to peel me off? We got talking about global warming, too, and about the two snakes that ran the Haverhill Public Schools, my former bosses in two different school districts in which i taught. Just finished writing about the two fiends in my latest book possibly titled "Assholes I have Known" by the way in case I die before I can publish it. Ask Uncle Joe to dig it up on my computer and print it out for each of you to save for family history. As i think of it, many of the assholes were particularly assholes either because they were male and I was female, or because even though they were female, I was not male. Most doubtful some of the incidents would have even happened had I been male. The baby boomers still have that inbred notion that women are inferior to men. They've never been, any more than they are now. They've only been treated that way, passed on from generation to generation. Physically, certainly, inferior in most cases as far as physical strength, lacking certain muscles in shoulders for example (read about that somewhere? will google it) to their credit, yes they are. But in terms of human value/worth...in no way, and gosh darn it, y'all know it!
What was encouraging in our conversation was to realize how aware you are of our environmental woes and are not so influenced any more by Adam (another asshole I could certainly write about, but that's your mom's story...well, yours too really.) We could tell Fox News was on too much and that Adam was not just pro-Trump, but a right wing National Rifle Association Asshole with capital RWNRAA. You both had been a bit brainwashed from living with him for so long because for awhile you thought Trump was a good man.
I hope to make it to your game next Sunday. Uncle Joe really likes to go, too. I was so glad your mom sent us your schedule. I hadn't heard from your dad since he sent me a text at least ten days ago saying he'd call me later or the next day. His head is just too far up his ass but I'm glad he's a such an involved and adoring( i mean worshipping) dad to you both, even if rather helicopter-ish. When you get apartments or dorms, you'll need security cameras to watch out for him dropping by for surprise visits!
Love and laughs forever,
Auntie Kim
