November 21, 2011 Missing Keys and Gospel Songs at Market Basket

Dear Noah and Dylan,

Well, I am now 53 and you guys helped me celebrate with a Friendly's Peanut Butter Ice-cream cake-delicious!!  You came over after your cousin Patrick's baptism.  Your ad said everyone had fun!
Right now I'm taking a break while you both are down for your naps.  I have to separate you two because you get too silly .  Actually, I could use a nap instead of writing but I'm afraid I'll forget things if I don't write them down now.
First of all, I think your mom is fine although she is worried about heart have problems.  She had pneumonia and that made her very tired so thats probably w she was so upset the other day. I know she is looking into buying a house and she likes on on Coffin Ave in Haverhill, 28 Coffin Ave which is right on the river.  But I think there might be some problems with flooding in that area and cost a lot for flood insurance, may be even $3000 a year.  The price came down $50,000 since Augst and now it is about $250,000 which is pretty cheap for waterfront, colonial, fairly new construction.  So we'll see if she ends up getting it.
Today was a crazy day since I was going to take you grocery shopping with me for the first time and when I went to find my keys, no luck, probably 45 minutes looking while you guys "helped" while Dylan asked "Why?" It was the first time I really felt the challenge of caring for both of you amidst chaos of four dogs, Cuddles was on the side porch shredding a roll of paper towels, Daisy brought in a crappy plastic spoon with shit and birdseed all over it on the front porch, toys everywhere, Daisy dragging boots across the living room, chewing hair off of puppets.   It was a little crazy.  I found the keys in a pile of leashes and we were off.  Your mom called while we were in the grocery store and I told her all about our morning including how I was ready to shoot myself which I should not have said in front of you boys.  So after I got off the phone, Dylan asked me "Why you going to shoot yourself?' I never even realized I had said that on the phone and explained after I almost wet myself laughing that I was going to "shoo" myself, send myself to time out!  (Good save, huh?) Well, then the two of you started singing religious songs from your school with the words "Amen!" and "Aleluya!" Noah wanted to carry the corn bread muffins the whole time.  You also both helped pick out fruits and vegetables and count them.  When we got to the car, I loaded it up, then could not shut the trunk since it got jammed somehow!  One of those days!
