Dear Dylan,
You are getting
to be Hell on wheels! If you’re not trying to climb onto furniture, bite us,
pull my hair clip out, or trying to beat Noah up, you’re just not having a good
time these days! Yesterday, I had you almost asleep in my arms so I put
you in your crib, followed by Noah who crashed immediately. Ten minutes later you were hollering so I
tried throwing you in the playpen in your parents’ room. You screamed for ten minutes so I let you out
before you hyperventilated. So what did
you do? You ran into yor room and jumped
on the slide while Noah was still sleeping.
So I took you out, shut the bedroom door and you ran right back and opened
it, looking back at me with a big smile on your face! The next time you did it, Noah woke up. So much for nap time! Your dad came back form Nick’s game (at least
that’s where I think he was!) and we took you and Noah on your first (and last)
Ruby ride. (although in the Spring I might see if she can pull the wagon!!) Afterwards, your dad took Noah to the
supermarket and you supervised while I made chicken and broccoli which neither
of you ate much of but at least you didn’t throw it across the room like the
salmon and fettucini last week!! You
were very haggy today also. Both of you
guys were competing for hugs and to be held.
I love every minute of it!
Uncle Joe couldn’t
wait to get over there today to see you.
He can’t get enough of you either! J Last week we took a ton of videos of you both
at a birthday in Shrewsbury. We went for
an hour -long ride to Declan’s first birthday.
He is Maria’s best friend’s son. And Maria also has a boy the same age. There were all kinds of cute little kids there. It turns out that Declan’s uncle used to be
one of my students at Triton! He’s now
in the Merchant Marines so he wasn’t at the party. We had a great time chasing balloons,
climbing on the stage, running around on the dance floor, using the ball toss
game-you put a ball down a shoot and air blows it up through another
shoot. Noah was more interested in that and
you were obsessed with the balloons!
Bye for now little love muffin,
Auntie Kim
