Hola, cacahuetes! (That's Spanish for peanuts) I'm sitting on your grandmother's memorial bench at Moseley Pines enjoying some time out with the dogs. Today's the last day the park is opened for the season to cars at least. Ruby, Jack and I went for a walk first at Woodsom Farm after I had breakfast at the Whistling Kettle in Amesbury, a place where me and Uncle Joe used to go with your grandma.
Yesteray I went over to see you with Auntie Susan, my best friend from my Lawrence days who is more like a sister to me. She loves babies and was dying to meet you and hold you. She held Noah for awhile and I held Dylan. Ruby and Jack waited in the car. You probably won't meet them unitl the first time you come over here (our house) unless you mom or dad gives me the green light to let them in your house but they didn't take the hint when I said "I gotta go because I got the dogs out in the car and want to get them out for a walk before dark.' Oh well. Sebastian, your cat, is like an Egyptian goddess. She nuzzled right up to me and Dylan, stretched her paw across Dylan's back. It was pretty cute and your mom took a picture! I hope I get a copy. Your dad was working so I didn't see him until he came home right before I left. He wanted the details on how he behaved the other night (at Grandpa K's 70th) I'm sure your mom will tell you more than once some day- let's se, we'll summarize with too much rum, vomit and an unhappy wife with two infant twins and another sick son at home. Grandpa K's party was not quite what I expected. It was mostly people from their church and a few of us heathens from both sides of the family, yet a chance to talk to Pam, Anita, Chris's mom and sister and Ken and Don.
Well, I'm freezing and ready to go back to Uncle Joe who is busy fixing our dishwasher and and cleaning out a mouse nest he found. We just met a lady with two cute shelties! Also a guy with two other dogs walked by and Ruby was acting all protective of us kings on the hill here!
Until next time- can't wait to see you again.
love, Auntie Kim
